Pacific Gas launches national partnership with Rural Aid to support rural communities
Industrial gas supplier Pacific Gas has announced a new national partnership with Rural Aid, launching its Stand With The Land campaign to support farmers and rural communities across Australia.
As part of the initiative, $1 from every Pacific Gas industrial gas cylinder sold will be donated to Rural Aid over a 12-month period, creating a direct link between business activity and community support.
Operating across regional Australia, Pacific Gas works closely with distributors and customers embedded in rural communities. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting those communities through ongoing environmental and economic challenges.
Pacific Gas Sales Manager Matthew Copplestone said the partnership was a natural fit.
“We operate in the same communities Rural Aid supports. Our distributors are in those towns, and their customers are often farmers or connected to agriculture.
This partnership is about backing those communities in a way that’s consistent and meaningful.”
Rural Aid is one of Australia’s leading rural charities, delivering practical, on-the-ground support including water and hay deliveries, financial assistance and mental health services to farmers affected by drought, flood and other natural disasters.
Rural Aid CEO John Warlters welcomed the partnership.
“Rural Aid is delighted to welcome Pacific Gas as a new partner. Their work directly with farmers and many rural and regional-based businesses means they have a deep understanding of the unique challenges facing rural communities and the people who support them every day.
Their support will be instrumental in helping Rural Aid reach more disaster-impacted communities and deliver assistance where it is needed most. We are sincerely thankful for their commitment and look forward to working together to make a meaningful difference across rural Australia.”
In addition to the $1 per cylinder contribution, the campaign will include fundraising initiatives through Pacific Gas’ national distributor network and field day activations aimed at raising awareness and additional funds for Rural Aid.
Mr Copplestone said the initiative was designed to deliver long-term impact.
“We wanted to create something that grows as we grow. Not a one-off campaign, but an ongoing commitment that supports rural communities over time.”
